My approach to couples therapy is centered on helping partners rebuild trust, improve communication, and navigate life’s challenges together. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative environment where you can openly explore the dynamics of your relationship—the challenges that feel overwhelming, as well as the moments that have brought you closer. I start by getting to know you as a couple: the ups and downs you’ve experienced, what’s working well, and where you may feel stuck or disconnected.
As part of our work, you’ll complete the Gottman Relationship Checkup, a comprehensive assessment designed to highlight both strengths and areas for growth in your relationship. We’ll also schedule individual sessions with each partner before coming back together for a feedback session. This structured approach allows us to clarify the key areas of focus and outline the path forward.
In each session, you'll bring your lived experiences, and I’ll introduce tools and techniques from the Gottman Method to enhance communication, build trust, and resolve conflict. Together, we’ll work through strategies such as the “Four Horsemen” antidotes, creating rituals of connection, and deepening friendship and intimacy.
Throughout therapy, you’ll gain practical skills to communicate more effectively, approach difficult conversations with compassion, and cultivate a relationship that feels stronger, more fulfilling, and resilient. My role is to guide and support you as you build a deeper, more connected partnership—one that reflects your values, goals, and shared vision for the future.
