Straus Therapy Cost & Insurance

My fees are in line with other providers in the San Diego area with similar training and experience. I am an in-network provider with Aetna and Medicare offering tele-health therapy throughout California. 

For clients with other insurance plans, coverage for mental health services is often available for out-of-network providers. If you’re interested in working together, I recommend contacting your insurance provider to check your out-of-network mental health benefits and verify if telehealth services are eligible for reimbursement. I’m happy to provide a detailed statement (a “superbill”) upon request, which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

My rates per therapy hour are: $160 Individual therapy; $180 Couples/Family therapy

A "therapy hour" is typically 45-55 minutes
